A broad based role as we have recently brought our subscription management in house and set up a new department.
You’ll need to demonstrate a positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to engage across a range of different business functions in the acquisition and retention of our magazine subscribers across a varied portfolio of consumer magazines. You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, a naturally analytical mind, a strong affinity/experience with managing databases, be comfortable with technology, demonstrate good customer service and have a flair towards marketing. You should still have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, be confident, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Our ideal candidate will want to own this role, and whilst data must float your boat, we require someone that can steer our longer-term vision as the role will also encompass the marketing elements of this business area, including managing our subscription activity at outside events such as Crufts and the Game Fair. Experience in the publishing industry and understanding the magazine subscription cycle is an advantage.
